hey, i’m cindy!
a licensed, bilingual mental health therapist here to guide your path to mental wellness & growth
I believe in your ability to change, grow, and heal—at a pace that feels right for you.
something feels off… you’re ready for a change.
Maybe you’re going through a big transition, dealing with loss, or feeling overwhelmed by stress, self-doubt, or disconnection. Maybe you’ve been carrying it alone or pretending everything’s fine when it’s not.
I see you. you’re exactly where you need to be.
My work goes beyond just talking—I give the skills, strategies, and resources to help you move forward. Together, we can focus on:
clarity & confidence – understanding what’s holding you back and build self-trust
stress & emotions – coping strategies to feel more in control, rather than overwhelmed
relationships – set boundaries, improve communication, and build deeper connections
life experiences – whether it’s career shifts, family challenges, or personal growth, we can get through it
mental health is often misunderstood & I’m here to change how we talk about it
I know what it’s like to push through, carry the weight of expectations, & question if you’re really doing enough.
As a first-generation college student from a Dominican background, I faced cultural identity struggles, academic pressures, and self-doubt—all while managing unrecognized ADHD symptoms that made everything feel twice as hard.
For a long time, I thought I had to do it all alone. Everything changed when I gave myself the space to heal.
I learned that my experiences were valid, I wasn’t broken, and healing wasn’t about fixing myself—it was about understanding myself.
that’s what led me here.
by the age of 23, I earned not just one but two degrees in social work—driven by resilience, determination, & a passion for making a difference
what sets me apart —
what sets me apart —
I combine clinical expertise with a relatable, down-to-earth approach. As a young adult, I understand the unique pressures of this stage—academic & career stress, life transitions, relationships, family expectations, and everything in between. I’ve been in your shoes, and I know how overwhelming it can feel.
Being bilingual (English + Spanish) allows me to connect with a diverse range of clients, ensuring culture, language, and identity are not only respected but celebrated in our work together.
The "why" behind my work is simple: to provide the guidance and support I once needed, helping you thrive despite life’s challenges.
If my journey resonates with you, I’m here to be part of yours.
your needs, my support
I can help you become more confident, peaceful, and at ease.
-
by shifting the way you speak to yourself, replacing self-criticism with kindness, and empowering you to build confidence in who you are so you can see your amazing qualities like others do.
-
by helping you recognize your negative thought patterns that keep you feeling stuck and learn to replace them with healthier, more empowering beliefs. this is great for anxiety, self-doubt, and breaking cycles of stress.
-
by teaching you how to slow down, manage stress, and become more present in your life. this can be especially helpful if you feel constantly overwhelmed or disconnected.
-
whether you’ve been through a big loss, a toxic relationship, or something that still affects you, we work at your pace to help you process and heal without rushing you or making things feel too overwhelming.
